Conservation:
- Recyclable materials to collect are on this page. Add dead batteries and empty egg cartons to the list!
- Darlene’s church is collecting clean used blankets, hats, gloves, mittens, socks, sweatshirts, scarves, thick socks, mittens (preferably large), soap, and small and large duffle bags for needy families. Socks, soap, and duffle bags are especially needed.
- Darlene is collecting yarn of any type except fun fur or eyelash for a lady she knows who can make baby sets for Birthright. Denise knows someone who can use eyelash and fun fur yarn.
- We are collecting clothing for Taunton charitable associations.Samaritan House and Main
Education
- Prison Book Program: A paperback dictionary, thesaurus, or Spanish/English dictionary. See www.prisonbookprogram.org for information.
- Bring books you have read to swap with others. Those not taken will be donated to the Friends of the Taunton Public Library for their book sales.
Home Life:
- Samaritan House: sample size toiletries, aluminum foil, plastice wrap and bags, paper towels and napkins, toilet paper, wash cloths and bath towels
- Raynham Food Basket: cereal
- St. Vincent dePaul: two or more canned goods
- Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary: garbage bags (45 gallon or more), 20 lb. bags of dry Purina cat food, any type of canned cat food, canned dog food - any brand, wild bird seed, fruit cocktail, D batteries, flashlights, canned sweet potatoes or yams. International Outreach:
- Bring pens and pencils for a catholic mission in India.
- Save stamps and Christmas cards for India missions.
- Our pig – Cha-Ching has been filled but we will continue to collect for Heifer for this year’s donation.
- We will be collecting for Shot@Life as the International Outreach focus project for GFWC of Massachusetts Juniors this year.
